LAN King hosts Super Smash Brother’s Weekly Tournaments in Provo Utah for smash competitors. COVID – 19 Weekly Tournament Message From Our Tournament Organizer
While we love that our smash events draw a crowd, in order to more fully comply with CDC guidelines and state social distancing protocols LAN King’s Smash weekly events will be run in smaller waves throughout the night until further notice. This means that each participant will be assigned to a specific pool wave and time. Players who advance to the top cut of the bracket will be asked to return later in the evening to finish out the tournament. In order to accommodate this new system, we are no longer allowing in-person signups- all registration must be done online via the link below. Additionally, registration will close every Tuesday at 12pm to allow for information regarding pool waves to be disseminated to all participants. If you register for the tournament, please be sure to check your email to know when pools are finalized so that you can know when your pool starts. While the first pool wave will begin at 6:30, subsequent wave times will be determined by total entry count and therefore must be announced the day of. If you have extenuating circumstances preventing you from complying with any of the above, or to request a specific pool wave, please contact our operations head at m.clawson@lanking.us.

Smash Brothers Monthly Tournaments
LAN King Monthly Smash Ultimate tournaments are reserved for amateur tournaments, clinics, and additional time for the smash community to get together and play.
These times and dates are announced via Facebook. If you aren’t able to make it to the Tuesday weekly this tournament is for you!
Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament Registration begins at 6:15 pm and will be ending at 6:50 to allow for the tournament to start promptly at 7.
You can register online clicking the button above and we will enter you into the bracket. Entry fee is $5, and
We will waive your venue fee when you bring a complete setup. This means that first-time entrants still have a way to take advantage of a completely free tournament when they bring one!
A full setup constitutes:
1 Nintendo Switch
1 Nintendo-brand Gamecube controller adapter
1 copy of Smash Ultimate with all characters unlocked
1 Monitor with HDMI and preferably speaker capabilities (optional)
If you have a setup, PLEASE bring one! It helps the tournament run much faster and smoother! We will also be opening up the East party room exclusively for friendlies for people to enjoy games if they have no interest in the tournament, are eliminated early on, or if they are just waiting for their turn to compete. Since there are so many people, please be mindful of others and their chances to play in the beginning. We will open up more friendly play stations as the tournament progresses.
